Your recording checklist

A few quick checks before we start will help us capture the best possible conversation. Here’s what we recommend:

Quiet environment

Choose a room where you are unlikely to be interrupted. Background noise, conversations, notifications, and other distractions can affect recording quality.

Google Chrome

We record using Riverside. For the best experience, please join from a PC or Mac using Google Chrome. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also supported, but Chrome is preferred.

🎙️

Microphone

A dedicated microphone is ideal. If you do not have one, a good-quality headset with an integrated microphone is perfectly suitable. Built-in laptop microphones should be avoided where possible.

🎧

Headphones

Please use over-ear headphones where possible. This helps prevent sound leakage and improves audio quality for both the recording and the live conversation.
